Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Deviled Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool the Eggs

After the time is up, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes. This will make them easier to peel.

  3. 3

    Peel the Eggs

Once the eggs are cool, gently tap them on a hard surface and peel off the shells. Rinse the peeled eggs under cold water to remove any shell fragments.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Filling

Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a mixing bowl and mash them with a fork. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  5. 5

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg whites.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle paprika on top of each filled egg and garnish with chopped chives or parsley. Serve chilled.
