Method

Ribs Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the ribs.

  4. 4

    Wrap and Bake

Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  5. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, unwrap them, and brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Broil

Place the ribs back in the oven under the broiler for about 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Sides Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Coleslaw

In a bowl, combine coleslaw mix with your choice of dressing and toss until well coated. Set in the fridge until ready to serve.

  2. 8

    Bake the Cornbread

Prepare cornbread according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Bake until golden brown.

  3. 9

    Heat the Baked Beans

In a saucepan, heat baked beans over medium heat until warmed through. Stir occasionally.
