Method

Preparation of Salad Base

  1. 1

    Prepare the Romaine

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Vegetables

Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumber. Add them to the bowl with the romaine.

Making the Dressing

  1. 3

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

  2. 4

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the dressing and adjust the salt and pepper if needed. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to use.

Making the Croutons

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 6

    Prepare the Bread

In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until the bread is evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy, stirring halfway through.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 8

    Combine Ingredients

Once the croutons are done, add them to the salad bowl with the romaine and vegetables.

  2. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the creamy Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients.

  3. 10

    Serve

Top with additional grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy your Caesar salad!
