Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the beef ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Dry Rub
In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly blended.
- 3
Apply the Rub
Rub the dry mixture all over the beef ribs, ensuring all surfaces are coated. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cooking
- 4
Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another layer of foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 3 hours.
- 5
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar. Set aside.
- 6
Glaze the Ribs
After 3 hours, carefully remove the ribs from the oven and uncover them. Brush the barbecue sauce mixture generously over the ribs, then return them to the oven uncovered.
- 7
Finish Cooking
Increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake the ribs for an additional 30-45 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and the ribs are tender.
Serving
- 8
Serve the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes. Slice between the bones and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
