Method

Sandwich Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon and Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, cook the brisket sausage links until browned and heated through, about 6-8 minutes. Slice them into rounds.

  2. 2

    Griddle the Tomato

Slice the tomato into thick slices. In the same skillet, add a little oil if necessary and griddle the tomato slices until they are slightly charred and soft, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In a separate non-stick skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked through (over hard), about 4-5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Toast the 7-grain bread slices until golden brown. Layer the bottom slice with spinach, followed by the bacon, sausage, griddled tomato, and American cheese. Top with the cooked eggs and the second slice of bread.

Hash Browns Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and grate the potatoes. Rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch and then drain well. Squeeze out any excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 6

    Cook the Hash Browns

In the same skillet used for the sandwich, add vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the grated potatoes and finely chopped onion to the skillet, spreading them out evenly. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes without stirring until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
