Prepare the Coffee Mixture

Brew Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and let it cool slightly.

Mix with Liqueur
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso with 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur. Set aside.
Prepare the Cream Mixture

Whip Heavy Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Mix Egg Yolks and Sugar
In another bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar until light and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold in 16 oz of mascarpone cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Carefully fold the whipped heavy cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom, followed by half of the mascarpone cream mixture. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and cream.
Chill and Serve

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Add Topping
Before serving, dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings.
