Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Deviled Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

Once boiling, cover the saucepan, remove it from the heat, and let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cool the Eggs

After 12 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let them cool for about 5-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Peel the Eggs

Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel off the shells under running water for easier removal.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Filling

Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a mixing bowl.

  6. 6

    Mix Ingredients

To the bowl with the yolks, add mayonnaise, yellow mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mash and mix until smooth.

  7. 7

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.

  8. 8

    Garnish

Sprinkle paprika over the filled eggs and top with chopped fresh chives if desired.

  9. 9

    Serve

Arrange the deviled eggs on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
