Prepare the Coffee

1. Brew the Espresso

Brew 1 shot of espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.

Prepare the Milk

2. Steam the Milk

In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling. Use a milk frother or whisk to froth the milk until it is creamy and has a velvety texture.

Assemble the Café Mocha

3. Mix Components

In a large mug, combine the brewed espresso and chocolate syrup. Stir well to mix the chocolate syrup into the espresso.

4. Add Steamed Milk

Slowly pour the steamed milk into the mug with the espresso and chocolate mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the foam on top.

Garnish and Serve

5. Top with Whipped Cream

Add 1 cup of whipped cream on top of the café mocha.
