Method
Steak Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Steak
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribeye steaks. Allow them to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat Grill
Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Fries Preparation
- 5
Prepare Potatoes
Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry.
- 6
Heat Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can use a thermometer for accuracy.
- 7
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the dried potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying them for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 8
Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt and paprika to taste. Toss to evenly coat.
