Method

Beef Filet Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Rub each beef filet with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Char-broil the Filets

Preheat your grill or char-broiler. Grill the filets for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

Shrimp and Mushroom Topping Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Shrimp and Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add Shrimp and Mushrooms

Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften. Then, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add White Wine and Parsley

Pour in the white wine and cook for another 2 minutes until the mixture is slightly reduced. Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Top the Filets

Once the filets are cooked, place them on a serving plate. Spoon the shrimp and mushroom mixture evenly over each filet.

  2. 7

    Add Mozzarella

Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the shrimp and mushrooms.

  3. 8

    Melt the Cheese

Place the topped filets under a broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 9

    Serve

Remove from the broiler, let cool for a minute, and serve immediately.
