Method
Cooking Pasta
- 1
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil over high heat.
- 2
Cook Pasta
Add the angel hair pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package directions, usually about 3-4 minutes, until al dente.
- 3
Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve a small cup of pasta water.
Making the Crab Sauce
- 4
Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 5
Add Cream
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- 6
Add Crab Meat
Gently fold in the cooked crab meat, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until combined and heated through.
- 7
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked angel hair pasta to the skillet with the crab sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- 8
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving. Enjoy your Angel Hair Pasta with Crabmeat!
