Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it activate for 5-10 minutes until bubbly. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- 2
Prepare the Filling
In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on top.
- 3
Roll and Cut
Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
- 4
Bake the Rolls
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5
Make the Frosting
In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- 6
Frost and Serve
Once the rolls are cool, generously frost them with the cream cheese frosting and serve warm.
