1. Marinate the Beef
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, black pepper, and water. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Add the bone-in short ribs, ensuring they are fully submerged in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
2. Grill the Ribs
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place them on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
3. Baste and Serve
While grilling, baste the ribs with the reserved marinade to enhance flavor. Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and additional chopped green onions before serving.
