1. Marinate the Beef
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Add the sliced chuck roll and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for deeper flavor.
2. Cook the Beef
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer, cooking for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through, flipping halfway. If cooking in batches, keep the cooked beef warm on a separate plate.
3. Serve
Transfer the cooked beef to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve with rice and your choice of side dishes.
