Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Fettuccine

In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 3

    Add Cream and Cheese

Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Bring to a gentle simmer and then gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.

  3. 4

    Season the Sauce

Add salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg to taste. Continue to cook the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 5

    Add Artichoke Hearts

Gently fold in the artichoke hearts into the sauce, allowing them to warm through.

  2. 6

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained fettuccine to the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy Alfredo sauce.

  3. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley on top for added flavor and color.
