Steak and Toppings
Italian Roll
Method
Preparing the Steak
- 1
Season and Cook the Steak
Season the beef steak generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired doneness. Remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Toppings
While the steak is resting, shred the Parmesan and Provel cheeses. Set aside.

Preparing the Roll
- 4
Toast the Italian Roll
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the Italian rolls in half and brush the insides with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
