White Wine Dijon Cream Sauce

Preparation of Chicken

Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Grill the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add Peas
Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.
Making the Sauce

Combine Ingredients
Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce for about 3-4 minutes. Add the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, whisking until combined. Allow to simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Assembling the Dish

Assemble Frankie’s Chicken
Place the grilled chicken on a serving plate. Top each chicken breast with a slice of provolone cheese, followed by the sautéed shrimp and onion mixture. Drizzle the white wine Dijon cream sauce over the top.
