Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Ensure they are fully peeled and deveined.

Marinade

  1. 2

    Mix the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 3

    Marinate the Shrimp

Place the shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the shrimp from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.

  2. 5

    Chill the Shrimp

Once cooked, transfer the shrimp to a plate and let them cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Then, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Shrimp

To serve, arrange the chilled shrimp on a platter. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley sprigs. Enjoy!
