Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ham

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern with a sharp knife.

  2. 2

    Create the Glaze

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon. Stir in 1 cup of water and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ham

Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down. Pour half of the glaze over the ham. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours.

  4. 4

    Add Remaining Glaze

Remove the foil, brush the ham with the remaining glaze, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 30-45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes, until the ham is heated through and caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
