Fried Fish Platter Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk.

  2. 2

    Coat the Fish

Dip each fish fillet first into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour-cornmeal mixture until well coated.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Fish

Carefully place the coated fish fillets in the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Cook the Fries

While the fish is frying, prepare the frozen french fries according to the package instructions.

  6. 6

    Serve

Arrange the fried fish, fries, and coleslaw on a platter. Serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce on the side.
