Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Cut in Butter
Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Milk
Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the milk. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.

Shape the Dough
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it 3-4 times. Pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle.

Cut Biscuits
Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm with butter or jam.
