Dumpling Ingredients

Method

Dumpling Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dumpling Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and boiling water. Stir until a dough forms and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a separate bowl, mix ground chicken or pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped peanuts, and chili flakes. Mix well until combined.

  3. 3

    Shape the Dumplings

Divide the rested dough into small pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle, place a spoonful of the filling in the center, and fold the dough over to seal. Pinch the edges to ensure they are securely closed.

  4. 4

    Cook the Dumplings

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Drop dumplings into the boiling water in batches and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float to the top. Remove with a slotted spoon.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve warm with additional soy sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.
