Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of salted water to a boil.

Cook Pasta
Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Set aside the pasta.
Cooking Vegetables

Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.

Add Cherry Tomatoes
Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
Combining Ingredients

Combine Pasta and Vegetables
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables.

Adjust Consistency
Pour in reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.

Season the Dish
Season with black pepper, add grated Parmesan cheese, and mix well. Stir in chopped fresh basil just before serving.
Serving

Plate and Serve
Serve the pasta primavera hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
