Method

Prepare the Batter

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, red chili powder, and salt.

  2. 2

    Add Water

Gradually add water to the dry ingredients while whisking until you achieve a smooth, thick batter.

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop Vegetables

Peel and thinly slice the potato and onion. Cut cauliflower into small florets and chop spinach leaves and green chili.

  2. 4

    Combine Vegetables

Add all the prepared vegetables to the batter and mix well until they are evenly coated.

Fry the Pakoras

  1. 5

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 6

    Fry Pakoras

Using a spoon or your hands, drop small portions of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.

  3. 7

    Drain Excess Oil

Remove pakoras from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
