Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and chop the spinach. Cut the boneless beef into bite-sized cubes. Finely chop the onion, and mince the garlic and ginger.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Beef

In a large pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are translucent.

  2. 3

    Add Garlic and Ginger

Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, and sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 4

    Introduce the Beef

Add the cubed boneless beef to the pan. Stir well to combine with the onion mixture, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned on all sides.

  4. 5

    Add Spices

Sprinkle in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, and slit green chilies. Stir to coat the beef evenly with the spices.

  5. 6

    Simmer the Beef

Add 1 cup of water to the pan, cover it, and let the beef simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, or until the beef is tender.

  6. 7

    Add Spinach

Once the beef is tender, stir in the chopped spinach. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the spinach is wilted and fully incorporated.

  7. 8

    Finish with Garam Masala

Sprinkle garam masala over the dish and stir well. Cook for another 2 minutes and then remove from heat.
