Preparation

    Chop the Vegetables

    Finely chop the onion, green bell pepper, and tomatoes. Sliver the ginger into thin strips.

    Prepare the Paneer

    Cut the paneer into cubes or triangles, depending on your preference.

Cooking

    Heat Oil

    In a kadhai or deep pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

    Add Cumin Seeds

    Once the oil is hot, add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

    Sauté Onions and Ginger

    Add the chopped onions and slivered ginger to the pan, and sauté until the onions turn translucent.

    Cook the Bell Peppers

    Add the chopped green bell pepper to the mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

    Stir in the chopped tomatoes along with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, and salt to taste. Cook until the tomatoes soften.

    Add Paneer

    Gently fold in the paneer cubes and let them simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes.

    Finish with Garam Masala

    Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of garam masala on top and mix well. Cook for an additional minute.

    Garnish and Serve

    Remove from heat, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot with naan or rice.
