Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Paneer

Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Finely chop the onion, tomatoes, ginger, and garlic.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Onion and Spices

In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger and garlic, cook for another 2 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Tomatoes

Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cook until they soften and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add Spices

Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes, mixing well.

  4. 6

    Blend the Sauce

Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Return the sauce to the pan.

  5. 7

    Add Cream and Paneer

Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes, allowing them to absorb the flavors.

  6. 8

    Finish with Kasuri Methi

Sprinkle kasuri methi over the paneer and mix well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Serving

  1. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with fresh coriander before serving. Enjoy with naan or rice!
