Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 2
Sauté Aromatics
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until they are browned on all sides, about 7-10 minutes.
- 4
Add Spices
Stir in the garam masala, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to toast the spices.
- 5
Add Tomato Puree
Pour in the tomato puree and stir well to combine. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 6
Finish with Cream
Slowly stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce is thickened. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper if necessary.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle fresh cilantro over the top before serving. Serve hot with rice or naan.
