In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In another bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Coat the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp first into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Shrimp
Carefully add the coated shrimp to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Plate the fried shrimp with a side of cocktail sauce, creole tartar sauce, and serve over a bed of house rice.
