Turkey Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil all over the turkey breast.

  2. 2

    Season the Turkey

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the seasoning mix all over the turkey breast, ensuring an even coating.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Smoker

Prepare your smoker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Preheat it to 225°F (107°C) and add the soaked wood chips.

  4. 4

    Smoke the Turkey

Place the turkey breast in the smoker, skin side up. Smoke for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  5. 5

    Rest the Turkey

Once cooked, remove the turkey from the smoker and let it rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the turkey breast and serve with your choice of sides.
