Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim excess fat.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

  3. 3

    Apply the Rub

Generously coat the ribs with the dry rub, ensuring they are well covered. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

  5. 5

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for about 3 hours, maintaining the temperature.

  6. 6

    Add Vinegar

After 3 hours, spray the ribs with apple cider vinegar every 30 minutes for 2 hours.

  7. 7

    Finish with BBQ Sauce

In the last 30 minutes, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and continue to smoke.

  8. 8

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the smoker, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
