    Prepare the Rice

    Cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside when done.

    Prepare the Vegetables

    Wash and slice the onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. Dice the tomato and cut the broccoli into florets.

    Prepare the Shrimp

    Ensure the shrimp are peeled and deveined. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Cooking

    Sauté the Vegetables

    In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli, and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

    Cook the Shrimp

    Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the shrimp. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

    Pour the teriyaki sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir well to combine, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the sauce.
