Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Hard Roll

Slice the hard roll in half. If desired, spread butter on the cut sides.

Cooking the Steak

  1. 2

    Season and Cook the Steak

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the thinly sliced steak with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the steak. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Crack the eggs into the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook the eggs sunny-side up or to your desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 4

Assemble the Shaved Steak & Egg Hard Roll

On the bottom half of the hard roll, layer the cooked steak. Place the eggs on top of the steak. If desired, add a slice of cheese and a drizzle of hot sauce. Close the sandwich with the top half of the hard roll.
