Method

For the Philly Cheese Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Thinly slice the ribeye steak against the grain into strips about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Onions

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Slice the onion into thin rings and add to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are soft and caramelized. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced ribeye steak, sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Combine and Melt Cheese

Add the sautéed onions back into the skillet with the steak. Mix well. Place the mozzarella cheese on top of the steak and cover the skillet with a lid. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Grinder

Slice the grinder rolls lengthwise. Fill each roll with the steak and cheese mixture.

For the French Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt.

  2. 7

    Bake the Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
