Method

Pastrami Reuben Assembly

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients including rye bread, pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Sandwich

Lay 2 slices of rye bread on a flat surface. Layer 4 oz of pastrami on each slice, followed by 1 slice of Swiss cheese and ½ cup of sauerkraut on top of the pastrami.

  3. 3

    Top and Grill

Place the remaining 2 slices of rye bread on top of the sauerkraut. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and place the sandwiches on the skillet. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Add Dressing

Once grilled, remove the sandwiches from the skillet and slice them in half. Serve with Russian dressing on the side for dipping.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the French Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to the package instructions. This usually involves baking them in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle with salt to taste.
