Method

Omelet Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the tomatoes and finely chop the onion. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Cook the Gyro Meat

In a non-stick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the gyro meat and cook until heated through.

  4. 4

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped onions and tomatoes to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.

  5. 5

    Make the Omelet

Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet over the gyro mixture. Cook until the eggs are set, about 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle feta cheese on top.

  6. 6

    Fold the Omelet

Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelet in half and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.

Home Fries Directions

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.

  2. 8

    Cook the Potatoes

In another skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes.

  3. 9

    Season the Potatoes

Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the potatoes evenly.

  4. 10

    Fry the Potatoes

Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.

Toast Directions

  1. 11

    Toast the Bread

While the omelet and home fries are cooking, toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.

  2. 12

    Butter the Toast

Spread butter on the toasted bread while it is still hot.
