In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

Prepare the Breading Mixture
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Dredge the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring a thorough coating.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Carefully add the breaded chicken breast to the hot oil. Fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
