Method

Prepare the Bread

  1. 1

    Choose your Bread

Select either a hard roll or a slice of toast as your base.

  2. 2

Toast the Bread (if using toast)

If you chose toast, place the slice in a toaster and toast until golden brown.

Cook the Ingredients

  1. 3

    Cook the Canadian Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the Canadian bacon slices. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until heated through and slightly crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Crack the eggs into the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then carefully flip the eggs and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the yolks reach your desired doneness.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

On the hard roll or toast, first place the cooked Canadian bacon slices, followed by the fried eggs.

  2. 6

    Add Optional Toppings

If desired, sprinkle cheddar cheese, chopped chives, and hot sauce on top of the eggs.

  3. 7

    Close and Serve

Top with the other half of the hard roll or simply serve open-faced. Enjoy your Canadian Bacon & Egg Hard Roll!
