Remove the outer leaves of the romaine lettuce, wash thoroughly under cold water, and dry using a salad spinner. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Use a vegetable peeler to shave the parmesan cheese into thin slices or use a box grater for a finer texture.
Making the Dressing

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, anchovy paste, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.

Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if necessary.
Assembling the Salad

In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce, herbed croutons, and shaved parmesan.
