Prepare the Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Add the halved chicken to the bowl, ensuring it is well-coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Preheat the Broiler
Preheat your broiler to high heat. This should take about 10 minutes.
Broil the Chicken

Prepare for Broiling
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet and arrange the marinated chicken halves skin-side up on the rack.

Broil the Chicken
Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Broil the chicken for about 20-25 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste with any leftover marinade halfway through the cooking time.

Cook the Vegetable
Steam or sauté your chosen vegetable until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
