Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash the oranges, lemons, limes, and apples thoroughly. Slice the oranges, lemons, limes, and apples into thin wedges or slices. If using strawberries, hull and slice them in half.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced fruits with the granulated sugar and honey. Gently muddle the fruits with a wooden spoon to release their juices.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Add Liquids

Pour in the red wine, orange juice, and brandy into the pitcher with the muddled fruits. Stir the mixture gently to combine all the flavors.

  2. 4

    Refrigerate

Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serving

  1. 5

    Finish with Soda and Garnish

Just before serving, add the club soda or lemon-lime soda to the pitcher for fizz. Stir gently to combine. Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

  2. 6

    Enjoy!

Serve the sangria chilled and enjoy the refreshing flavors!
