Mushrooms

Sauteed Mixture

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set aside.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Finely chop the garlic and parsley. Dice the bell peppers into small pieces.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Garlic and Peppers

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, then add the diced bell peppers. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the peppers are tender.

  2. 4

    Add the Mushrooms

Place the cleaned portobello mushrooms in the skillet, gill side down. Cook for about 5 minutes.

  3. 5

    Deglaze with White Wine

Pour the white wine into the skillet, allowing it to deglaze the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes, flipping the mushrooms halfway through, until they are tender and the wine has reduced slightly.

  4. 6

    Finish with Parsley

Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the mushrooms, and season with salt and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.
