Method

Prepare Seafood

  1. 1

    Cook Lobster

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster and cook for about 10-12 minutes until bright red and cooked through. Remove from water, let cool, then remove meat and chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

Cook Shrimp, Scallops, Calamari, Clams, and Mussels

In a separate pot, add the shrimp, scallops, calamari, clams, and mussels. Steam for about 5-7 minutes until they are cooked through and the shells open. Discard any unopened shells. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare Fish

Cut the white fish into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Cook Pasta

  1. 4

    Boil Pasta

In a large pot of salted water, bring to a boil. Add the spaghetti or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make Sauce

  1. 5

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 6

    Add Tomatoes

Pour in the canned whole tomatoes, breaking them up with a spoon. Let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens.

  3. 7

    Season Sauce

Stir in fresh basil, salt, and black pepper to taste. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Combine and Serve

  1. 8

    Combine Seafood with Sauce

Add the prepared lobster, shrimp, scallops, calamari, clams, mussels, and fish into the sauce. Stir gently to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes to heat through.

  2. 9

    Serve

Toss the cooked pasta with the seafood marinara sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired.
