Method

Crepe Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract. The batter should be smooth and slightly thin. Cover and let it rest for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crepes

Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with a bit of butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pan and quickly swirl to spread it evenly in a thin layer. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to lift and the bottom is lightly golden. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional 1 minute on the other side. Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.

Filling and Serving

  1. 3

    Add Filling

Spread about 2 tablespoons of Nutella onto one half of each crepe. Top with sliced strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream. Fold the crepe over to enclose the filling.

  2. 4

    Serve

Dust the filled crepes with powdered sugar before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
