Wagyu Porterhouse Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the Wagyu porterhouse steak from the fridge and let it come to room temperature for about 30-60 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Generously season both sides of the steak with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drizzle olive oil over the steak and rub it into the meat.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, approximately 450-500°F (232-260°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and well-oiled.

  4. 4

    Add Aromatics

Smash the garlic cloves and place them directly on the grill alongside the rosemary for added flavor.

  5. 5

    Grill the Steak

Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the porterhouse steak and serve it with the grilled garlic and rosemary. Enjoy your premium Wagyu experience!
