For the Pão de Queijo
Method
Instructions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the yuca flour and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and olive oil. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- 3
Add Cheese
Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- 4
Shape the Rolls
Using your hands, shape the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Leave some space between each ball as they will expand while baking.
- 5
Bake the Pão de Queijo
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
- 6
Serve Warm
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy your delicious Pão de Queijo!
