Cooking Directions
1. Cook the Bacon and Sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the diced bacon. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until browned.
2. Sauté the Vegetables
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
3. Add Yuca Flour
Gradually add the yuca flour to the skillet, stirring well to incorporate it with the bacon, sausage, and vegetable mixture.
4. Season and Cook
Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture, season with salt and black pepper. Stir continuously for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the yuca flour to toast slightly and absorb the flavors.
5. Serve
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm as a side dish to your favorite main course.
