Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and black pepper. In a large bowl, add the fillets and pour in half of the Marsala wine. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the marinated chicken fillets and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender. Pour in the remaining Marsala wine and bring to a simmer, allowing it to reduce by half.
- 4
Finish the Sauce
Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Return the chicken fillets to the skillet, coating them with the sauce.
- 5
Serve
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot with your choice of side.
