Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Ragu
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Sauce and Seasoning
Stir in the Sicilian tomato sauce, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the ragu sauce until well coated. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and additional black pepper if desired.
