Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Prime Rib

Season the prime rib with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Preheat a grill or pan to medium-high heat and sear the prime rib for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

2

Slice the Beef

Once cooked to your preferred doneness, remove the prime rib from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes. Thinly slice the beef against the grain.

3

Warm the Beef Broth

In a saucepan, heat the beef broth over medium heat until simmering. This will be used for dipping.

4

Toast the Herb Bread

Toast the slices of herb bread on a grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

5

Assemble the Sandwich

On each slice of toasted herb bread, layer thinly sliced prime rib, a slice of provolone cheese, pepperoncinis, and giardiniera.

6

Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7

Serve

Serve the sandwiches hot with a small bowl of warm beef broth for dipping.
